Escape Gallery is Poulsbo’s one-of-a-kind escape room and puzzle experience — locally owned and built with the same love for the Kitsap Peninsula that runs through everything great about this town.
Their flagship experience, Odin’s Dilemma, is a Viking-themed escape room where your group has 60 minutes to uncover relics hidden by Loki and restore order to Odin’s realm. Designed for 2–6 players and all experience levels, it’s an immersive, puzzle-packed adventure that’s as perfect for date night as it is for a group outing.
Can’t make it inside? The Viking Legacy of Poulsbo outdoor puzzle box takes the adventure into the streets of historic downtown. Pick up a custom handcrafted wooden puzzle box, then follow clues through Poulsbo’s murals, landmarks, and hidden details as you unravel the mystery of an artifact discovered on the shores of Liberty Bay. No time limit, no reservation needed — just grab your box, charge your phone, and explore at your own pace. $54 for the whole group.
A second indoor room — Glitch: The Dark Machine, an 80s arcade-themed experience — is also in the works. Follow Escape Gallery on social media for updates.
Nordic Fox & Moon is one of Poulsbo’s newest additions to the downtown shopping scene, and it fits right in with the town’s Scandinavian spirit. Tucked in the heart of historic downtown with gorgeous views of the waterfront, this charming gift shop specializes in beautifully hand-poured candles and whimsical Nordic-inspired gifts — the kind of finds that feel both magical and made for this little corner of the Pacific Northwest. Whether you’re shopping for a one-of-a-kind souvenir, a thoughtful gift, or simply treating yourself to something special, Nordic Fox & Moon is well worth a stop on your visit to Poulsbo.
The Suquamish Museum is located in the heart of Suquamish territory on the Port Madison Indian Reservation — just a short drive from downtown Poulsbo across the Hood Canal Bridge corridor — and offers one of the most meaningful cultural experiences in the Pacific Northwest. The museum preserves and shares the rich history and vibrant culture of the Suquamish people, offering a unique educational experience for visitors of all ages. Exhibits draw on the tribe’s deep connection to Puget Sound, exploring traditional fishing practices, canoe culture, ancestral village life, and the legacy of Chief Seattle (Si’ahl), who is buried in the nearby Suquamish Cemetery. The Leota Anthony Museum Store carries a carefully curated selection of Native-made jewelry, art, books, and cultural items — every purchase directly supports the museum’s mission. Guided public tours are available by reservation, and the museum hosts rotating events and education programs throughout the year. Field trips, educator visits, and venue rentals can also be arranged. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for elders and youth (5–17), free for children under 5, and $18 for families of 4–6. Check the museum website for current hours and upcoming events before your visit.
