Description
The founders of Punjab Indian Cuisine wanted to offer Poulsbo residents the finest Indian food possible. Using ancient recipes from the Punjab region of India, they crafted a menu that would delight and satisfy diners — and nearly a decade later, it remains Poulsbo’s only Indian restaurant and one of its most highly regarded. The menu is wide-ranging and welcoming: start with crispy samosas stuffed with potatoes and peas, then move into the main event — rich, aromatic curries like Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, and Korma (available with chicken, lamb, fish, shrimp, or goat) simmered in cashew and cream. The tandoor oven turns out beautifully charred Chicken Tikka and Tandoori Chicken alongside a rotating selection of naan — garlic, Kashmiri, cheese, chicken, and olive among them. Spice levels are fully customizable, with options for vegetarians and those on gluten-free diets woven throughout the menu. Lunch specials, mango lassi, Indian chai, and a full selection of Indian desserts round out the experience. Online ordering via Clover for curbside pickup. Open Monday, Wednesday–Thursday 11am–2:30pm & 4–9:30pm; Friday 11am–2:30pm & 4–10pm; Saturday 11:30am–2:30pm & 4–10pm; Sunday 11:30am–2:30pm & 4–9pm. Closed Tuesday.
