Soggy Sasquatch Mushroom Paint Workshop
Get crafty during the Soggy Sasquatch Festival with a hand-carved wooden mushroom of your very own. Each raw mushroom is carved by Jess Ensslen, one of this year’s featured Soggy Sasquatch chainsaw carvers, known for her mural and chainsaw carving work — and, it turns out, an equally impressive touch with mushrooms.
For $50, your workshop experience includes:
- One raw, hand-carved wooden mushroom
- All supplies to paint and customize it
- A wooden pedestal/base
- Moss to finish the look
- The option to add a hole and rebar so it can be secured right into your garden
Together, you’ll paint your mushroom, mount it on its pedestal, and add your finishing touches to turn it into a one-of-a-kind piece — whether you keep it as a decorative standalone piece or a garden feature. Grab a couple and start your own mushroom family.
Jess will be on-site throughout the event, so you’ll have the chance to meet her, learn about her chainsaw carving process, and see more of the incredible work featured throughout the Soggy Sasquatch Festival.
