Ye Ol’ Landmark is one of Poulsbo’s most unique and charming shops — a North Kitsap institution tucked away on Jensen Way NE that has been delighting collectors and Anglophiles alike for decades. Part British import pantry, part collectibles boutique, part gift shop, it’s the kind of place that rewards a slow, unhurried browse.
The shop’s British Pantry is a standout destination in its own right, stocked with imported UK food items including teas, biscuits, sweets, canned goods, and specialty items you simply won’t find at your average grocery store. Arcangeli Bakery sourdough breads from Pescadero, California add a beloved artisan touch to the pantry selection. On the gift and collectibles side, the inventory is wonderfully eclectic: Fenton Art Glass (made in the USA), fine bone china and tea services from England, Boyds Bears, Cherished Teddies, Calico Kittens, Clayworks by Blue Sky, Sandicast dog figurines, Harmony Kingdom pieces, Sandra Kuck artwork, Douglas plush animals, mini porcelain boxes, and a delightful array of cat-themed gifts including comic curious cats showcases and country artist collections. Wine holders, salt and pepper shakers, mini clocks, angels, Betty Boop items, and more round out the cheerful, eclectic mix.
A true one-of-a-kind stop in Little Norway — and well worth the short detour off Front Street.

One of Poulsbo’s best-kept secrets, Wilderness Park is an 11.5-acre forested retreat sitting right in the middle of the city — just across from North Kitsap High School on Caldart Avenue. The easy 1-mile out-and-back trail winds through dense Pacific Northwest forest along Dogfish Creek, with wooden bridge crossings, shaded canopy, and the kind of quiet that makes you forget you’re steps from downtown. Rated 4.2 stars on AllTrails, it’s a favorite for a quick morning walk, an after-school nature break, or a dog-friendly stroll (leashes required). Wilderness Park also connects to the Park to Park Loop — a 1.56-mile trail linking Wilderness Park and Raab Park via a mix of paved and natural surface trail with some elevation gain. Best access is from the North Kitsap High School parking lot, crossing Caldart Avenue to the trailhead. Free to visit, open year-round.
