The Sip

The Sip is one of Poulsbo’s most distinctive and social spots — a self-serve, pay-by-the-ounce taproom and wine lounge right on Front Street in the heart of downtown. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast, a wine explorer, or someone who just wants to try a little of everything, the format here is designed for exactly that.

The concept is simple and genuinely fun: check in with the greeter, open a tap card linked to your credit card, grab a glass, and pour from any of 36 revolving taps. You’re charged only for what you pour — by the ounce — which means you can sample freely and discover something new without committing to a full glass. The rotating lineup spans Washington wines, craft beers, ciders, wine cocktails, kombucha, cold brew coffee, seltzer, and root beer, with a strong emphasis on exceptional Pacific Northwest producers alongside unique finds from around the country.

Beyond the taps, The Sip is a genuinely welcoming hangout space with pinball machines, shuffleboard, arcade games, and board games — making it a natural fit for groups, families, date nights, and everything in between. A full food menu covers lunch, dinner, and snacks, ordered at check-in or via QR code at your table and delivered to you. Happy hour runs Sunday through Friday from 3–5pm with 20% off all taps plus food specials. The space is also available for private events and rentals.

Digital gift cards are available through their website and never expire. Open daily 11:30am–9pm. Located at 18801 Front Street NE, Poulsbo. Call (360) 564-9782 or visit pouryoursip.com.

The Poulsbo location offers a full breakfast menu weekdays from 7–11am and weekends 7am–noon, lunch and dinner daily from 11am–8pm (noon on weekends), and an everyday BBQ menu from 11am–7pm. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite before shopping or settling in for a full meal, Field House brings thoughtful, locally sourced Pacific Northwest cooking to an approachable, casual setting. Tys Wine & Brew

Ty’s Wine & Brew is a woman-owned hybrid tavern and bottle shop tucked along Viking Avenue, offering a refreshingly relaxed alternative to the usual Poulsbo outing. The thoughtfully curated space serves wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages — available to enjoy on-site or take home — with an emphasis on quality, discovery, and genuine community connection. Inside, the layout feels more like a well-loved home than a traditional bar, with cozy couch seating around a fireplace, game tables, bar seating with a gorgeous wooden top, and traditional sit-down areas, each with its own distinct vibe. The owner is known for being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the selection, making it a great spot to try something new — whether that’s a wine from an unexpected region or a locally crafted hazy IPA. True to its community mission, Ty’s donates a portion of profits to local and environmental charities. Light snacks are available, and outside food is welcome.
