Drone Show Over Liberty Bay
August 11 @ 9:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Free
Poulsbo caps off its record-breaking Summer Nights at the Bay concert series in style — with a 200-drone light show over Liberty Bay. The evening kicks off with the season finale concert featuring Kalimba – The Spirit of Earth, Wind & Fire from 6–8 PM, followed by a 12-15 minute synchronized drone performance around 9 PM, presented by the City of Poulsbo, Poulsbo Rotary Club, and Peninsula School District’s Performance Drone Team.
This is a first for Poulsbo, offering a family-friendly alternative to fireworks. Grab dinner downtown, enjoy the concert, and stick around for the show.
Good to know:
- Best viewing is from Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park, oriented southeast; the show is also visible at a distance around Liberty Bay
- The Waterfront Boardwalk closes to the public 2:00–10:00 PM for drone prep and operations
- A temporary restricted zone (including a no-boat zone on Liberty Bay) is in effect 8:30–10:00 PM for safety
- Expect temporary road closures/detours at Front St/Sunset, Front St/King Olaf Parking Lot, and Front St/Jensen
- Personal/recreational drones are not permitted during the event
- Rain or unexpected weather could delay or cancel the show
