Roots Rock Run: Spooky 12k

Starting and finishing in Port Gamble, the hills aren’t the only scary part of this race! Dress up for this one, with the best costume contest to follow the race. The Spooky 1 Miler is free and for the kids only. Run into the woods and follow the trail to see the old bears den before running back to town!

This is a fun, challenging set of races through beautiful single track trails and dirt roads. Set in historic Port Gamble, the races are sure to please those seeking a fun, rugged alternative to the road. The trails are in the town’s privately owned 4300 acre tree farm, which is home to deer, owls, coyotes, bears, and other animals!
This year all the races will start and finish at the Uplands ( gate 6), just south of Port Gamble off SR104.
Shirts will be printed up only once, to guarantee shirt size and availability entry must be paid 10 days prior to the day of race.
We will once again have the Course Record challenge. Beat the course record for any of the courses, male and female, and win $25.00
As usual we will have a ton of swag to give away after the races…. thanks to everyone who has participated and helped make these races so successful, we look forward to seeing you again.

The Forest 5K is a great run for trail vets and beginners alike. The course combines gentle logging roads with some pretty single track.

Why Not Run 5k

The White Horse Golf Club in Kingston will play host to its WHY NOT RUN at White Horse Golf Club 5k. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Haselwood Family YMCA’s Teen Late Nite Program, part of our Annual Campaign.

ROOTS ROCK RUNNING: LUMBERJACK ENDURANCE RUNS

April 9th-10th 2016
With a strong first year of support, once again there will be a 100 M, 100 K, and 50 M option. The run will consist of a 12.5 mile loop with 3 fully stocked aid stations per loop, a 30 hour time limit, and the option to run whatever distance you like. Keep updated here and on the Facebook page!

St Patty’s Day Beer Run – Poulsbo

ST. PATTIES DAY POULSBO BEER RUN Sunday, March 13th, 2016 http://poulsbobeerrun.com 3.6 MILES—4 BREWERIES-–WITH A BEER AT EACH ALL PROCEEDS WILL BENEFIT KITSAP COUNTY’S BLUE STAR BANNER PROGRAM Choose from Slippery Pig Brewery, Sound Brewery, Valholl Brewing, or Envy Bar & Grill to start and end your run at. Cost: $40.00 includes race entry, 5 beers, and a finisher’s prize. Sign up before February 19th at noon and you can have your race bib customized with a name or saying of your choice, for no extra charge. Limited to the first 500 runners registered (125 Runners at each Brewery). This run will fill up fast! Competitive Division ($45) Everyone in this division will start at Sound Brewery at 8:50AM, and will be timed. In this division you will not have to wait in line, and someone will be on hand to verify that you drank your entire beer at each location. If you want to run for time, be sure to sign up for the Competitive Division. T-Shirts can be ordered for $15, and will be a moisture-wicking fabric. Must be ordered prior to February 19th at noon. Fishline 25/50k – Port Gamble

This weekend is the Fishline 25k/50k held in Port Gamble. In its 8th year, this event is a challenging and fun way to be charitable.
In support of the Fishline food bank, participants are encouraged to bring canned food to donate.
