This unique harvest feast will be prepared and hosted by Mossback Cafe sourcing ingredients from our local farms here in Kitsap. Come enjoy with us a locally crafted, seasonal meal with beer and wine, live acoustic music, and the good company of your friends and neighbors.

There will also be a dessert silent auction as part of the evening for those interested in indulging in some of the sweets our local artisans have to offer.

All proceeds from the evening go directly towards raising funds for Kitsap Fresh’s subsidized membership program. We are working to foster community and support access for low-income families to the online market by providing no cost memberships to those that qualify.

There is nothing better (well, almost) than a wonderful community event.

And Poulsbo has 2 fun ones coming up this Friday and Saturday!

You’ll want to start your weekend off right, with Poulsbo Uncorked.  This annual event, Friday from 4-7p at Hudson on Viking, has been going for a few years now, and each year proves to be better than the last.  Local restaurants and caterers serve bites.  While breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cideries hand out tastings.

This paired with catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, even networking happens left and right.

You will need to purchase tickets.  To purchase online, go to the Chamber of Commerce’s website: Poulsbo Chamber.  Or pick up your tickets at any participating business.

With the ticket, you will receive a commemorative glass and drink tickets.  For details, click on the link in this e-blast.

Our second community event happens in Historic Downtown Poulsbo, starting at 6pm.  This fun is for the whole family.  Head downtown for some live music and dancing in the street, at Poulsbo’s annual Street Dance.

This weekend may leave you a little tired come Monday morning.  But it’s going to be epic!

First Annual Kingston Lavender Festival

13263715_606680979488017_2962596493431154822_n

On Saturday, June 25, 2016, Kingston House Weddings & Events Venue will kick-off summer with its First Annual Kingston Lavender Festival.

The one-day, family-friendly event will feature Emmy® Award-winning local musicians, The Grub Hut food truck, workshops by lavender gurus Susan and Jack Harrington of Labyrinth Hill Lavender, and “u-cut” lavender bundles. The festival will also include a mini-open house for Kingston House Weddings and Events.

Admission is free, but RSVP is required.

Located just five minutes from the Kingston Ferry Terminal in Kitsap County, Kingston House’s park-like grounds are 15 acres of rolling lawns, woods, a large pond, trails and a lavender farm. The farm’s 2,000+ lavender plants represent several popular varieties.

“We’re excited to welcome the community to Kingston House and hope the Kingston Lavender Festival will become a popular annual tradition,” says Kinam Sohn, Kingston House’s owner.

Come for the lavender, the music, the grub, and the community!

Stay tuned for updates and details!
