History of the Poulsbo Yacht Club

Tom Henderson will give us an engaging history of the Poulsbo Yacht Club, which was founded in 1956 to promote pleasure boating activities in the Puget Sound. PYC provides approximately six club cruises per year, operates a 152-slip marina, and attracts visitors from other yacht clubs to the Poulso waterfront. Join us in learning the behind–the-scenes stories about this important aspect of our maritime heritage.

Following the program the Heritage Museum on the second floor of City Hall will be open. The featured exhibit is “Pigskin Warriors,” 89 years of football at North Kitsap High School.
