Santa Paws at Olmsted Tree Farm

It’s the most wonderful time of the year – Santa Paws is coming to town!

Kitsap Humane Society’s Annual Santa Paws pet and family portraits are back! This festive event costs $20 per family and includes one family photo with Santa that will be emailed to participants digitally after the event.
All dogs must be on a leash and all other animals safely contained. Animals aren’t required! We have the best Santa in town so bring the kiddos and the family. Pictures are first come first served. All proceeds benefit animals in need at KHS!

2022 Kitsap Humane Society PetsWALK

Join us for our 29th Annual PetsWALK Presented by Mud Bay on Saturday, June 25, 2022!

Lace-up your sneakers and leash up your pets, PetsWALK Presented by Mud Bay is BACK in-person in Downtown Poulsbo. Starting at Lions Park, this charity 5K walk/run (with a 1K option) can be done with or without your furry family members at whatever pace you like. Then, join us for the bustling vendor fair to follow at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park.

PetsWALK is a family-friendly event that allows animal lovers of all ages to support Kitsap Humane Society. Participate in our 5K, 1K, Kids Dash, contests, and vendor fair! Plus, raise lifesaving funds for shelter pets in need leading up to the event, and you’ll earn GREAT prizes.

Registration opens on April 25. We can’t wait to see you there!

Wild for Wines

Don’t miss the 6th annual Wild For Wine, a food, wine and chocolate tasting event to benefit the West Sound Wildlife Shelter!

Enjoy an evening in rustic yet elegant surroundings while watching our amazing Pacific Northwest wildlife on the shores of Agate Passage and help raise crucial funds needed to help treat and feed our patients and wildlife ambassadors.

By attending Wild For Wine you will be an integral part of the Shelter’s mission to rehabilitate injured, orphaned and sick wildlife and give them a second chance at life! Meet our wildlife ambassadors in person and you can’t help but want to help these amazing and inspiring creatures. While attending Wild For Wine, savor a scrumptious 3-course meal masterfully created with locally sourced northwest ingredients, each course paired with a delicious regional wine. But save room because all of this is followed by a chocolate and wine pairing dessert featuring even more regional wines and decadent chocolates created by our own local chocolatier ChocMo Bistro.

Proceeds from the auction will go towards the Nick Brooke’s Memorial Scholarship. Scholarships from this fund will be awarded to underprivileged soccer players in the greater North Kitsap area so that they too can develop a passion for the game.

Make it a night out…tickets will include dinner, 2 drink tickets, live music, dancing, a great auction, and lots of fun people! Rooms have been reserved at a reduced rate at the Casino Resort, so come stay for the night!

Tickets to the dinner auction are $40 (this is the actual per person cost to the club) and can be also be purchased at the awards ceremony on January 21st. Tables of 8 can be reserved. Reduced rates on for the hotel at the casino are available by calling the casino at 1-800-375-6073. Let them know you are with NKSC. Hotel reservations must be made by February 24th. Ticket purchase for the auction must be made by March 4th.

Gems of the Jewel Box 2016 Fundraiser Gala

COME JOIN US IN CELEBRATING OUR TREASURES at the theater’s Seventh Annual Gems of the Jewel Box Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Son’s of Norway, 18891 Front Street, Poulsbo, WA, 98370.

THE SPECIAL EVENING WILL BEGIN AT 5:00 P.M., with gourmet appetizers for every taste, while patrons shop our tempting silent auction items and be entertained by the Jewel Box cast of 9 to 5: The Musical.
THE LIVE AUCTION IS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE EVENING. During the live auction, we will “raise the paddle” for new stage curtains and individual mics for actors.

TICKETS ARE $50 PER PERSON ($45 if purchased by Feb. 15) AND CAN BE PURCHASED ONLINE HERE. Reserve now so you don’t miss out. Tax deductible donations from those who can’t attend are graciously accepted. For your convenience, donations by check and credit card will be accepted at the event.
