A Celebration of Color, Community & the Return of Spring

No passport required! Come celebrate Holi—the Festival of Colors—right here in Kitsap County. Rooted in Indian and Nepalese traditions, Holi is a joyful celebration of spring’s arrival, the triumph of good over evil, and the healing of broken bonds. While its origins are deeply cultural and spiritual, the heart of Holi is universal—and everyone is welcome.

Date
Saturday, March 7

Schedule
Holi Fest (Color Celebration): 2–5 PM
Live Music with The Barn Cats: 5–7 PM

What Is Holi?

Holi is a centuries-old festival traditionally marking renewal, forgiveness, joy, and new beginnings. It’s a time to laugh, dance, and quite literally paint the world brighter together.

What to Expect

A designated outdoor, roped-off area for color throwing
Colorful powder available for purchase
A Nepalese prayer wheel, where you’re invited to write wishes, prayers, intentions, or joyful thoughts and release them into the world
Music, laughter, cider, and a whole lot of color-filled fun
Whether you fully dive into the colors or simply soak in the energy, participation is always your choice.

Is It Messy?

Yes—and that’s part of the magic!

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting colorful (many people choose white)
  • Bring a change of clothes
  • Protect eyes, phones, and sensitive electronics
  • Disposable towels will be available
  • If you’re covered in powder, we’ll ask that you change or wear a disposable coverall before entering the indoor tasting room

Details

  • Kid- and pet-friendly
  • No outside alcohol (we’ve got cider, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options available for purchase)Overflow parking available just past the tasting room on the right
  • Additional parking may be available at the new detailing business across the street
  • Food truck: TBD (stay tuned!)
  • To participate in the color festivities, waivers will be required.
  • Stained clothing, powder exposure, and electronics damage are beyond our control. Holi is joyful chaos—personal responsibility is key to a great time.
  • As the Holi celebration winds down, keep the good vibes rolling with live music by The Barn Cats from 5–7 PM inside the tasting room. It’s the perfect transition from high-energy color play to relaxed spring evening hangs.
