Midtsommer 2026 — Poulsbo Sons of Norway

Celebrate the summer solstice Scandinavian-style at Midtsommer, an annual tradition hosted by the Poulsbo Sons of Norway at 18991 Front Street!

The day kicks off at 10:00 am with the Nordic Market Scandinavian Bazaar in the Sons of Norway Marine Room, open through 4:00 pm. Through the early afternoon, enjoy free flower crown-making, live music, and folk dance performances — including Poulsbo Leikarringen youth dancers. Gather for the traditional Maistang pole raising with audience participation in dancing and singing, followed by continued live music into the afternoon.

As dusk falls, the Vikings march down Front Street through Waterfront Park to the bonfire pit for a ceremonial Summer Solstice proclamation and a massive Viking bonfire to close out the night.
