Poulsbo Running is North Kitsap’s dedicated specialty running and fitness store, open since April 2006 with a simple mission: serve the active lifestyle of the Kitsap Peninsula. Whether you run, walk, cycle, swim, or hike, owners Chris and Brooke Hammett — lifelong Kitsap County residents — have built a shop where everyone feels welcome and everyone leaves well-equipped.

The store’s specialty is expert shoe fitting. Staff take the time to understand your biomechanics, foot type, and activity level before recommending a shoe — and yes, they’ll ask you to run in them. From casual walkers to seasoned marathoners, the goal is always the same: the right shoe for you. The team brings serious personal experience to the floor as well, with collective backgrounds in triathlons, ultramarathons, and races of all kinds. Need to know how a wetsuit should fit?
