Description
Poulsbo Candy Shoppe is a family-owned fudge shop and old-fashioned candy retailer right in the heart of Historic Downtown Poulsbo, co-owned by mother-daughter duo Marsha Harris and Bekkie Elser. After closing their previous candy business in Snoqualmie during the pandemic, the family fell in love with Poulsbo on their very first drive through — and decided this was exactly where they wanted to put down roots and reopen their shop.
Fudge is the Candy Shoppe’s staple, with over 16 flavors made fresh right in the store — and on busy days, you might catch the team making a batch while you browse. Flavors rotate with the seasons and holidays, keeping things fresh for repeat visitors. Some standouts include Heath English Toffee, Strawberry Cheesecake, Huckleberry, and Rocky Road. Beyond fudge, the shop carries a wide assortment of nostalgic favorites: salt water taffy, jelly beans, lollipops, vintage candies, gummies, sour candy, licorice, Scandinavian items, PEZ, children’s novelties, caramel corn, and peanut brittle — all sold the old-fashioned way. Online shopping is also available through their website for curbside and shipping orders.
The Candy Shoppe fills a distinct niche with its emphasis on in-store made fudge and broad nostalgic candy selection, making it a natural double-stop for anyone with a sweet tooth exploring Front Street.
