Nordiska is downtown Poulsbo’s destination for all things Scandinavian — a carefully curated boutique at 18925 Front St NE, Suite 201, specializing in Nordic housewares, kitchen goods, textiles, toys, art, clothing, and gifts. Owner Kristin Klassert, who holds a degree in Scandinavian Studies and spent her career in retail and wholesale housewares, opened Nordiska to fill a natural void in Little Norway’s most authentic setting. Building it has been, in her words, a dream come true.

The shop balances the traditional and the modern — you’ll find classic Nordic items alongside fresh, design-forward finds sourced from or inspired by Scandinavia. Expect Bjørn Wiinblad glassware, Norwegian chocolates and candies, cozy blankets and textiles, home décor, and a thoughtful toy and children’s selection. Nordiska also hosts special in-store events, including an annual Oleana pop-up featuring the beloved Norwegian knitwear brand. The shop maintains a blog covering Nordic culture, fika recipes, hygge ideas, and book recommendations for fellow Scandinavian enthusiasts.
