Description
Kitsap Memorial State Park is a scenic Washington State Park situated on the Hood Canal shoreline just north of Poulsbo, with sweeping views of the Olympic Mountain range and some of the most beautiful sunsets on the Kitsap Peninsula. Open year-round, it’s a versatile destination for campers, day visitors, paddlers, and anyone looking to unwind in a stunning natural setting.
Camping options are plentiful — the park offers 19 standard sites, three partial-hookup sites, eight full-hookup sites, three hiker/biker sites, and four cozy rentable cabins, each sleeping up to five with heat, electricity, a fire pit, mini fridge, and microwave. A group campsite is available seasonally and can accommodate up to 56 people. Activities on site include kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, beach exploration, hiking, and use of the playground, ball fields, horseshoe pits, and volleyball area.
The park is also home to the Log Hall Heritage Area — a charming event and wedding venue that includes the historic Log Hall, a catering kitchen, pavilion, and hospitality house, all reservable year-round.
A Discover Pass is required for entry ($10 day pass / $45 annual). Reservations for campsites and cabins can be made through the Washington State Parks reservation system. Dogs are welcome on leash.
