Summer Nights at the Bay Concert Series

Free live music every Tuesday evening, July–August
Austin-Kvelstad Pavilion at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park | 6:00–8:00 PM

For more than 20 years, Summer Nights at the Bay has been one of the most beloved free events in Kitsap County. Pack a picnic blanket, grab your lawn chairs, and head down to the waterfront for live music, dancing, games, and the best summer atmosphere around. This year kicks off with something extra special — a Fourth of July double-header celebration from 2–6 PM, in honor of America’s 250th birthday.

Here’s the full 2026 lineup:

July 4 (Saturday, 2–6 PM) — America’s 250th Celebration Double Header Family Picnic
A special kickoff in honor of Independence Day and the nation’s 250th anniversary. Two bands, line dancing, and a whole lot of celebration.

July 7 — Navy Band Northwest
Brass Band Funk, R&B, Jazz and Soul
The United States Navy’s musical ambassador to the Pacific Northwest returns to kick off the Tuesday series. This 35-member professional ensemble plays everything from ceremonial brass to New Orleans-style funk — a fan favorite every year.

July 14 — Great American Trainwreck
Americana, Bluegrass and Northwest Country
Described as a locomotive of outlaw country, alt-country, and Northwestern music you need to hear, this band is a perfect summer evening soundtrack.

July 21 — Merge
Modern Classic Rock from the ’90s and Newer
Grunge, alternative, and modern rock from the decade that defined a generation. They promise to “make your body smile.”

July 28 — Deseo Carmin

An electrifying fusion of Latin rhythms, Jazz-Funk grooves, and the passionate spirit of Flamenco — complete with dazzling costumes and high-energy performance. A TEDx Seattle speaker and Univision Latin Music Award nominee, Deseo Carmin is a can’t-miss show.

August 4 — Kara Hesse

Nashville-based Kara Hesse brings Americana soul and rock ‘n’ roll to the Poulsbo waterfront. She’s shared the stage with Steve Miller Band, BB King, and Al Green — you won’t want to miss this one.

August 11 — Kalimba: The Spirit of Earth, Wind & Fire
R&B and Soul
The series closes with a powerhouse tribute to one of the greatest bands in history. Earth, Wind & Fire guitarist Sheldon Reynolds called Kalimba “the only one that gets it” — and audiences agree.
