This festive occasion includes music\, dancing\, and flower crown-making\, embodying Scandinavian culture and the joy of summer solstice. \nSwedish Midsommar celebrations are rich with tradition: decorating homes with greenery\, wearing flower crowns\, dancing\, singing\, and feasting late into the bright northern evening. Poulsbo’s celebration mirrors these traditions\, bringing the charm of small Scandinavian villages to the Pacific Northwest. \nEvent highlights:\n10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Free flower crown-making\, live music performances.\n1:00 pm: Maistang raising\, inviting audience participation in dancing and singing.\n1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Folk dance performances by Poulsbo Leikarringen youth dancers.\n2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Continued live music performances. \nCelebrate Midsommar in Poulsbo and experience vibrant Scandinavian culture with friends and family.
