All ages are welcome\, we only require a good attitude\, and enthusiasm to paddle. \n\nWHAT’S INCLUDED:\n\nPaddle Snack Pack\nProfessional Guides & Safety Boaters on the water at all times\n$5 donation to Kitsap Peninsula Water Trails\nShuttle back to Fay Bainbridge Park\n\nITINERARY:\nFay Bainbridge Address: 15446 Sunrise Dr NE\, Bainbridge Island\, WA 98110 \n\n  7:30am – Check-in opens at Fay Bainbridge Park\n  8:30am – Mandatory Paddler Safety Meeting\n  9:00am – Paddle Begins\n11:00am – Rest Stop in Keyport\n  2:00pm – Paddlers arrive at Poulsbo Waterfront Park\n  6:30pm – Shuttle back to Fay Bainbridge Park\n\nThe fist leg of our journey is about 5.5 miles and should take about 2 hours; we will make our way across Port Madison and into Agate Passage to ride the incoming tide on our way to our rest stop in Keyport where we will hop out of the boats to stretch\, use the facility and snag some goodies from the Keyport Mercantile. After we have had time to recharge in Keyport we hit the water for the final 2.5 miles into Poulsbo. We will still have the current pushing us and expect the last leg to take about an hour. \n* Times are approximations and may vary depending on our group and conditions.

DESCRIPTION:The Forest 5K is a great run for trail vets and beginners alike. The course combines gentle logging roads with some pretty single track. \nRoot Rocks Run:\nThis is a fun\, challenging set of races through beautiful single track trails and dirt roads. Set in historic Port Gamble\, the races are sure to please those seeking a fun\, rugged alternative to the road. The trails are in the town’s privately owned 4300 acre tree farm\, which is home to deer\, owls\, coyotes\, bears\, and other animals!\nThis year all the races will start and finish at the Uplands ( gate 6)\, just south of Port Gamble off SR104.\nShirts will be printed up only once\, to guarantee shirt size and availability entry must be paid 10 days prior to the day of race.\nWe will once again have the Course Record challenge. Beat the course record for any of the courses\, male and female\, and win $25.00\nAs usual we will have a ton of swag to give away after the races…. thanks to everyone who has participated and helped make these races so successful\, we look forward to seeing you again.
