DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Holi\, the festival of colors\, at the Ciderhouse! No need to travel to India or Nepal \, we have you covered at your neighborhood watering hole.\nDate: Wednesday March 8th 4-8 PM\nWhat is Holi?\nThis is a festival that originated with Hindi beliefs that run deep with Hindu dogma and history\, but the core of the festival is something that can be celebrated by all. We will be celebrating the beginning of spring\, the triumph of good over evil\, and the bonding of broken relationships.\nWhat do we do?\nWell\, that is up to you! We will have an outside roped off area for those that wish to partake in the festivities. Colorful powder can be puchased\, and this is where we enjoy the casting of all the colors of the rainbow in the heavens and adorning our bodies and clothing with the hues to bring levity to a normal Wednesday afternoon. We will have a Nepalese prayer wheel\, and you can choose to write your wishes\, prayers\, resolutions or just happy thoughts\, and cast them into the world.\nIsn’t it messy?\nYes! Be prepared to bring an extra set of clothes when you are done. Also\, most people wear white to show off their colors\, so think about what you want to wear\, and what you don’t mind not wearing again. Be careful to protect your eyes and your sensitive electronics. Disposable towels will be available if you need them. We will ask you don a disposable coverall or change before entering the indoor tasting room if you are covered in powder.\nParking:\nOverflow parking available in back lot if needed.
